biography

the ishiguro family name had been a title long drowned in infamy by the time it was passed onto tomoko. known for its breed of horrifically powerful curse users, the name certainly turned heads when spoken. mostly out of sheer curiosity, or pity, since most of the family members died extremely young---perhaps due to their alleged criminal ties---but the true causes have since been shrouded in mystery.
born in the rural countryside, the young ishiguro girl sprung to life on a rather unfortunate foot. her parents had already fallen victim to their lifestyles by the time she'd turned seven, leaving her orphaned in her hometown of UENOHARA. the locals were less than willing to extend a helping hand to the freshly orphaned child

initially, tomoko had led a path of delinquency, resonating with the whisper of rumors in her hometown. mostly elders who thought of her as nothing more than an issue. eventually, a temporary life of instability and erratic behaviors collapsed into a life of institutions---now a ward of the japanese government, ishiguro moved to a suburb of tokyo, where she attended boarding school for girls; where she'd reside for her remaining teenage years. she'd been complacent, moving limply as a puppet along with whatever regulation had been weakly enforced.
by the time she was forced into her independence, her hatred for common folk clouded her thoughts, preventing her from properly socializing. settling for low-paying jobs & oblivion, the chances of prosperity falling into an aimless subcategory

desc. since a child, tomoko had often heard the words quiet & obedient used to describe her demeanor. besides the obvious detestment she had over her peers, at a glance, she truly was quiet. always reverberating her thoughts in her own conscience, none ever being verbalized properly. but obedient? slightly submissive perhaps, even now, in the presence of others she doesn't seek dominion---any type of attention that would risk anyone getting a real look at her countenance. but the same taste of passive aggression is there, in her humor, the way she slightly belittles others in casual contexts. outside of her sarcastic shell, one may be able to find a glimpse of the former ishiguro girl of uenohara.

ABILITIES: ✱ born with heavenly restriction, clean of cursed energy yet with the speed of wind, enhanced sight, and other heightened senses. an inherited trait that had skipped a few generations before herself.

tomoko ishiguro is a hostess, reportedly working at an entertainment club for bachelors in hachioji, japan. one night, after dealing with a client who made her slightly nervous, she leaves for the train ride home. upon leaving the building, however, she is attacked by an unnamed male suspect. in self-defense, ishiguro fiercely stabs the suspect with an inherited kaiken, killing the suspect. in a panicked shock, ishiguro leaves his body in the alleyway in which they engaged, and continues her way home. later that evening, she reported hearing voices, or rather, a voice.

ishiguro is later reported as missing by her employer, as she doesn't have any living relatives.

a series of horrifically mutilated bodies are found by local yokohama police. they appear to be cannibalized, or attacked by a wild animal. authorities suspect foul play.
